FAQ

Can I pay online?

Yes, if you like you can store your payment info on our secure scheduling site. You are billed after the services are complete

When am I billed?

You are billed after the service is completed. For our ongoing walking and sitting clients, you are charged the first Monday of the following month.

I travel a lot for business, how much notice do you need if I need help?

After an initial meeting (no charge), your pets have met us and we can start following your pets routine to keep them safe and relaxed in their home environment. You can book online 24/7, or just call or text to 816-694-9296.

Will you walk my dog when you petsit?

If your dog is used to a walk, then that’s what we do. Dogs take comfort in their routines. If your dog(s) needs a walk longer than 15 minutes, we charge an extra $5 per day to make sure your pooch is pooped.

Your phone message says you don’t answer on weekends. What if I need to reach you?

If we are actively taking care of your pets, call, e-mail, or text all you want. Because this is usually the only time petsitters get to spend with family, we try to save the office work for Monday morning. We are busy with training classes as well on Saturdays and do not answer the phone when we are busy with a client.

Can I call to check on my pets?

Absolutely! Please feel free to check in as much as you want. If you like, we can contact you with updates. Just let us know what fits your schedule.

Who does the petsitting and dogwalking?

For the first week or so, you are usually stuck with me. I want to be sure everything is going perfectly and we fully understand your pets temperment and needs. For dogwalking, I want to be sure your dog is comfortable with us and there are no behavioral issues to wrestle with. After that, one of our walkers / petsitters will meet with me and your pet to review all the specifics and make sure the pet is comfortable with the new person.

My dog pulls hard on the leash. Do you still walk difficult to handle dogs?

We can figure out what will work best at our initial meeting. We do NOT use or recommend choke, prong, or shock collars. We can help you fit a nose halter or martingale style walking harness. These are both safe alternatives. We will work with you to develop a walking/training program that best suits your needs and budget. Usually basic clicker training can bring amazing results. Sometimes some counter conditioning or  other behavior modification techniques can help alleviate problems.
